Mambaskincamps offers carefully curated safari and travel experiences across Tanzania, often requiring advance reservations and non-recoverable payments to third-party providers such as lodges, national parks, and transport companies. To ensure smooth operations, all bookings are subject to the terms below.
1. All Sales Are Final
All bookings made with Mambaskincamps are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payments made are final and non-reversible. Refunds will not be granted under any of the following conditions:
- Cancellations initiated by the client
- No-shows
- Delays in arrival or early departures
- Missed flights or connections
- Travel disruptions due to personal issues (e.g., illness, visa issues, or family emergencies)
2. Deposits & Payment Terms
- A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings, unless full payment is made at the time of booking.
- The remaining 70% is due no later than 30 days before the safari departure date.
- Late or incomplete payments will result in automatic cancellation without refund.
3. Date Changes & Modifications
- No date changes are allowed within 30 days of the scheduled trip.
- Requests made more than 30 days prior may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to:
- Availability
- An administrative fee of USD $150
- Non-refundable status if later cancelled
4. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)
Mambaskincamps is not responsible for disruptions due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (e.g., floods, earthquakes)
- Political unrest or road closures
- Travel bans or government-imposed restrictions
- Airline strikes or delays
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed. We may, at our discretion, offer a credit voucher valid for 6 months, subject to availability and rebooking fees.
5. Third-Party Provider Costs
Any payments made to third-party service providers (e.g., accommodation, transport, park entry) are strictly non-refundable, even if the trip is cancelled.
6. Refund Requests (Exceptions Only)
Refunds may only be granted in cases of:
- Duplicate payments
- Confirmed payment processing errors
To request an exception:
- Submit a written request within 48 hours of the transaction
- Include proof of error or duplicate payment
- Allow 30 business days for processing
Note: Transaction and bank fees are non-refundable.
7. Policy Acknowledgement
By making a payment to Mambaskincamps, you:
- Confirm you have read and understood this Refund and Returns Policy
- Waive the right to dispute charges via your bank except under the exceptions outlined above
- Agree to address any issues directly with Mambaskincamps in good faith
8. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, including but not limited to relevant tourism and consumer protection regulations under the Fair Competition Act and guidelines from the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB).
