The First Day - Journey from Arusha to the Serene Wilderness of Tarangire National Park
Upon reaching your hotel, our team will be there to greet you. Following introductions with your guide, chef, and fellow travelers, we will embark on a scenic journey to Tarangire National Park, a renowned destination characterized by its varied terrain. This park is famous for its vast collection of ancient baobab trees and is home to the highest concentration of elephants in the entire country. Witness firsthand the captivating dynamics within elephant herds as we explore the park on a game drive, focusing on areas where animal sightings have been frequent, particularly predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards that may require a keen eye to spot. Additionally, keep an eye out for a plethora of herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras scattered throughout the park. Following a satisfying lunch, our adventure continues with further game viewing until late afternoon, concluding our park exploration around 4:30 pm. We will then make our way to the campsite for a delightful dinner and a restful night's sleep.
The Second Day - National Park of Serengeti
Covering a distance of 145 kilometers, the journey will take about 3 to 4 hours without game viewing stops. Your day will kick off with a departure towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the picturesque highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you leave the elevated lands behind, you will enter the heart of untamed Africa—the vast plains of Serengeti National Park stretching endlessly into the horizon. Moving towards the central Seronera area, renowned for its diverse wildlife population and the Seronera River, a crucial water source attracting a wide range of Serengeti's species. Upon reaching, a delicious lunch awaits, followed by an exciting afternoon game drive in the park.
The Third Day - From Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater
Covering a distance of 145 kilometers, the journey to Seronera in Serengeti National Park typically takes 2 to 4 hours without game viewing stops. The day begins with an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive to observe diverse wildlife until midday. After returning to camp for lunch and preparations, the adventure continues with a game drive towards Simba campsite, approximately a 2-hour drive from Serengeti, located close to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. It's worth noting that animals can often be seen around the campsites.
The Fourth Day - From Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha: A Journey Through Tanzania's Natural Wonders
Following a hearty breakfast, you will head straight to the floor of the crater for a guided tour, complete with a delicious picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is renowned worldwide as a top destination, particularly for observing the endangered black rhinoceros. Starting with a hotel pickup in Arusha, you will enjoy a scenic drive to the Marangu gate to complete the necessary registration before commencing the hike. This particular path approaches the mountain from the southeast side, allowing you to traverse through lush rainforests teeming with the lively sounds of Colobus monkeys and various bird species. The trek focuses on the lower altitudes, providing a chance to savor a picnic lunch on the way to Mandara Hut. After a brief rest at the hut, you will slowly descend back to the Main Gate, where your driver awaits to transport you back to the airport. Relaxing tunes will accompany you on the journey, easing any tiredness from the day's adventure.
