Travel Itinerary
First Day - Journey from Arusha to the Serene Wilderness of Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival in the morning, your guide will be there to greet you. Following a pleasant two-hour journey, you will arrive at Tarangire National Park. Upon entering the park, your guide will open the roof of the vehicle, providing you with an enhanced viewing opportunity. Known for having the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania, Tarangire also offers sightings of giraffes, buffalo, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of antelopes and gazelles. The landscape is characterized by seasonal marshes and a vast tree-dotted savannah, featuring impressive baobab trees. After a thorough exploration of the park through game drives, you will reach Tarangire Camp in the late afternoon. Here, you can unwind, revel in a stunning sunset, and relax.
The Second Day - From Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha: A Journey Through Tanzania's Stunning Landscapes
Get ready to start your day bright and early! Following a morning meal at your campsite, you'll descend down a steep path into the crater. This unique terrain consists of grassy plains and acacia forests, providing a habitat for nearly all the wildlife typically found in the East African savannah. Within just a few hours, you may have the opportunity to spot the renowned Big Five —lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard —along with eland, mountain reedbuck, hyenas, and elusive wild dogs. Following an extensive safari adventure and a delightful picnic lunch within the crater, you'll bid farewell to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and journey to Arusha, where you'll either check into a hotel for the night or be transferred to the airport.
